Col John Albert Reddy

Col John Albert Reddy, age 74, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. John, a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, served 28 years in the US Air Force with over 4,500 flying hours. His military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with five oak leaf clusters, and the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster. John was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Reddy Hamic. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jan Frederick Reddy; daughter, Samantha “Mandy” Lankford; grandchildren, Arielle Ellis, Kiersten Lankford; brothers, George E. Reddy, Timothy Reddy; sister, Chrissy Derby; along with many other relatives and friends. John’s family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
