Clifford Street, Sr.

Clifford Martin Street, Sr., age, 77, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope where he taught Sunday school for 23 years and also served as a Deacon and Deacon Emeritus. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He was a farmer in Baldwin County for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilliard and Matel Street; and a sister, Elizabeth Cox. He is survived by his wife, Jean Devine Street; sons, Cliff Street, Jr. (Kristie) and Ken Street (Lauren); daughter, Laureen Street Bell Davis (Tony); grandchildren: Maegan Bell, Cassidy Bell, Hannah Bell, Josh Bell, Savannah Street, Clifford Martin Street, III “Trey”, Kate Street and Kendall Street; brothers, H.V. Street, Buddy (Elizabeth) Street and Harold (Cathy) Street all of Fairhope; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Fairhope from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. Mr. Street will lie-in-state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
