Clara Stripe

Clara McKee Stripe, 104 years old, died October 24, 2018 (11 days short of her 105th birthday) at the Eastern Shore Rehabilitation and Health Center, Daphne, AL. She was a native of Monmouth, IL, a former resident of DeKalb, IL. Mrs. Stripe worked as an executive secretary for Olin-Turner of Sycamore, IL. She was an elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church in DeKalb, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Stripe of DeKalb; son, Norman L. Stripe of Greensboro, NC; and daughter, Kay S. Lahti of Daphne, AL. Survivors include son-in-law, Richard E. Lahti of Daphne, AL; grandson, Richard M. Lahti (Rhonda) of Omaha, and great grandchildren, Kaylee McKee and Richard G. Lahti of Omaha; also grandchild, Gretchen Stripe of Greensboro, NC. Her ashes will be buried in Monmouth, IL. With her late husband, Paul.
