Christopher Neil Watkins

Christopher Neil Watkins, age 40, a native of Mobile and a resident of Robertsdale, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. He was employed by the Department of Transportation for 19 years. Chris was a member of Grace Lutheran Church; an avid outdoorsman and Auburn football fan. Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Verna Watkins, Carl and Lucille Rossmanith and an uncle, Ricky Rossmanith. Christopher is survived by his parents: Steve & Janis Watkins of Daphne; 1 sister: Wendy (Jason) Newell of Alabaster, aunts & uncles, Carolyn (Joe) Ellingburg  and Ray Rossmanith all of Mobile, David (Patricia) Rossmanith of Kenner, LA, Gayle (Kevin) Thompson of Milano, FL, Rita Davis of Ocean Springs, MS; nieces, Kayla and Emma Newell; his fiancé, Rose Daily and her son, Liam; numerous cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, January 23, at 12:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Mobile.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Christopher’s name to Grace Lutheran Church, 1356 Government St., Mobile, Alabama 36604.
