Charles Willard Hayes

Charles Willard Hayes, age 83, of Daphne, AL, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. He was born in Middlesboro, KY on May 9, 1936 to the late Charles and Ruth Hayes. Charles married December 18, 1959 to the late Jacqueline Hayes settling in Satsuma, AL. They later moved to Memphis, TN. He worked for B.O.L. and Associates and later became President/Owner of his own insurance company, Tennessee Marketplace. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Memphis, TN for many years and was a generous contributor to Salvation Army and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. He retired in 2003 and moved to Daphne, AL. He was member of Elks Lodge in Fairhope for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Hayes, his wife, Jacqueline Hayes, and brother, Maynard Hayes. Charles is survived by his daughter, Denise Hayes Hagan (George) of Atmore, AL; brother, Wesley Hayes (Deborah) of Hampton, GA; sister, Laura Hayes Davis (Richard) of Cumming, GA; brother-in-law, Dennis Butts (Diane) of Milton, FL; sister-in-law, Hilde Hayes; many beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
