Charles Arthur Folkes

Charles Folkes, age 88, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Charles served in various churches throughout Alabama as a pastor, administrator, and outreach leader. He lived his life loving people and fulfilling his calling to serve his Savior and lead others to Him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Janice Folkes of Daphne; daughters, Joy (Mike) Bishop of Daphne, Amy (Pascal) Stowell of Oberlin, Louisiana; sister, Jimmie Adkinson of Dothan; grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Douglas, Micah (Brooke) Stowell, Matthew Stowell, Miles Stowell; great-grandchildren, Emma Douglas, Charlotte Douglas; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.

Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Enhabit Hospice.
