Charles P. Cortright

Charles P. Cortright caught the evening heavenly flight to his eternal home on September 16, 2018. Charles was a native of Mobile and resided in Spanish Fort. He was owner and founder of Rubber & Plastic Applicators and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Charles loved deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, bird hunting and Alabama football. He was a most loving and supportive father to his family. He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Joseph Cortright; brother, Russell Joseph Cortright, Jr.; and sister, Judy Cortright Parda. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Beverly Moore Cortright; 2 sons, Vincent Martin Cortright and Douglas Charles Cortright all of Spanish Fort; sister, Joan Cortright Cowles; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Private memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Charles’ family requests memorial donations be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, Sacred Heart Residence, 1655 McGill Ave., Mobile, Alabama 36604.
