Charles "Buck" G. Bishop

Charles “Buck” Bishop, age 86, a resident of Fairhope, AL., passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope, where he was a Deacon Emeritus, and a member of Sunset Mountain Boys and Puppet Ministry. He was a veteran of U.S. National Guard and U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Poser Printing, and was a grounds man at the Grand Hotel. Buck was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; an avid Alabama football fan and loved working in the yard. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth, of Fairhope; daughter, Sherrie (Scott) Clark of Pensacola; brother, David (Carol) Bishop of Fairhope; sister, Laura (Floyd) Yeager of Fairhope; grandchildren, Seth Clark of Orlando, FL, and Spencer Clark of Pensacola; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 1:00. Interment will follow the funeral service at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
