Carl A. Brill

Mr. Carl Alex Brill, 71, a decorated Marine, Purple Heart Recipient of the Vietnam War, passed on August 9th, 2021, surrounded by his wife and family at home. Born February 2nd, 1950, in Mobile, Alabama, Carl loved fishing, family, camping, Alabama Football, and country cooking. Carl and wife Sandi lived in Daphne, AL, and were members of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Daphne, AL. Carl was preceded in death by parents Oscar and Harriet Brill as well as siblings Susan and Gary Brill. Carl is survived by his wife, Sandra Lewis of Daphne; daughter, Brandi Brill Harbison (Mitchell); sisters, Betty Jo Hood and Harriet Brill Outlaw (Perry); brother, Bobby Brill (Donna); grandchildren Jessica Matthews (Brandon), and Justin Matthews (Katina), and two great- grandchildren, Linkin and Jaxson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Carl will be laid to rest at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers, please donate to: Christ the King Catholic Parish.
