Candice Bowles Robertson, born in Oklahoma City, OK on July 8, 1950, passed away, at the age of 70, on March 6, 2021 at home, surrounded by family and friends. Candice graduated from Fairhope High School in 1968, where she was the 1968 Dogwood Trail Queen. She attended the University of Alabama, where she was a Dean’s List student and a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of the “Girls of 68”, ‘The Daisies”: Donna Dowsey, Diane Gravat, Auline Gail, Gay Dean, Belinda Lehman and the late Cheri Dowsey, and also the West Coast “Calabama Girls”: Judy St. Sure, Sherry Cagle, Robin Canright, and Patty Clark Yore. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Collins, her siblings, Stephany Bowles Grindol, Matthew P. Bowles, of Fairhope, Sue Ann (Andrew) Faulkner, Vonore, TN, and John Drake McLauchlan of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by her Uncle Phillip E. (Jim) Collins, Fort Lauderdale, FL and her beloved nephew, Sam (Jennifer) McLeod. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Ashley Robertson. Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am. Donations may be made in her honor at Rankin Animal Clinic, 8437 U.S. Highway 98, Fairhope, AL 36532. ROLL TIDE FOREVER!!!
