Byron L. Calhoun

Byron Leonard Calhoun, 78, of Fairhope passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018. Mr. Calhoun was known for his quick wit, beautiful smile and fun adventurous spirit. He retired from the Baldwin County Commission, Poser Business Forms, and the Linen service in Gulf Shores. He was also the former owner of Pen & Ink in Fairhope. Mr. Calhoun was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope. He was an avid deer hunter and Alabama Football fan. Mr. Calhoun also coached Little League Football and baseball. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge, and the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jackie Calhoun; his daughter, Donna (Mike Schuck) Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his son, Byron Daniel “Danny” Calhoun. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:00pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
