Brian R. Barber, 61, a resident of Spanish Fort passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at his home around 12:15 AM.
Brian was born in Torrance, CA on March 15, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents R.B. and Helen Barber of Huntsville, Al.
Brian is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kimberley M. Barber; daughters, Kelly Ann Webb (Shane) and Brittney Lynn Killingsworth (Luke); two sons, Johnathan Wade Barber and Liam Marshall Barber; a grandson, Nolan Mitchell Killingsworth and many other loving relatives and friends.
Brian found joy pulling pranks on his family and working around the house. He was devoted to his Catholic faith. Brian R. Barber was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus for 26 years and a Fourth-Degree member for 25 years.
He was employed by Mobile County Public School System as a Payroll Accountant since 03/22/12. Brian was a proud Auburn University graduate. He held a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting), class of 1985. He was an avid Auburn football fan who cheered on his beloved Tigers and proudly wore the team colors--orange and blue--year-round. War Eagle!
A Celebration of Life/ Funeral Mass will be for held for Brian and Led by Fr. Jim Cink. This will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Brian Ralph Barber can be made to the Building Fund at his home church, Blessed Francis Seelos, 31387 Buckingham Blvd., Spanish Fort 36527. The Barber family is grateful for all the beautiful expressions of love and sympathy during this difficult time and ask for your prayers to continue during the coming days, months, and years.
