Brenda Moates Hagan, Age 65, a resident of Daphne, Al, born March 16, 1955 in Clinton, County Al went to Haven Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her Mother Grady Merle Maddox Moates, Father Thomas Virgil Moates, Husband John Padget and Nephew James B. “JB” Billingsley. She is survived by her, big brother-best friend-husband Gerald “G” Hagan, Daphne, Al, sister Carolyn A Robinson, (Johnny) Clanton, Al, niece Kathy Billingsley Clanton, Al, nephew Keith Baker (Shelly) Texas, grandnephew Dustin Virgil Billingsley Clanton, Al, son Danny R. Whiteside, two grandsons, Danny R. Whiteside II, Brandon Dale Whiteside and many friends. Brenda was one of those people that you would “want to be your friend”. You may not want to hear something, but if you needed to hear it, she would tell you. If you needed a friend, she would be there. Through Brenda’s employment history she was a branch secretary with Mosler Safe Co., Secretary to General Manager of New United Motor Manufacturing, Office Manager with Environmental Management, Office Manager with Circuit City Stores, Executive Secretary with Rich’s Inc. and Office Manager, Dept. of Psychology Spain Rehab Center. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:30PM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
