Bradley Gilbertson

Bradley Jon Gilbertson, 47, a resident of Daphne passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

 Brad was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and son. He was a hard worker, loved his music, and quiet Sunday barbecues at home. He always stopped to help people in need.

Brad was a kid at heart, loved going on adventures with his wife, but not shopping. He was a “flipper” of most anything, and loved working with hands. He liked fishing, 4 wheeling, mud trucks, and the beach.

He worked at Winn Dixie as a manager for years, before finding Hoist and Crane where he always felt needed, enjoyed the friendships he made there, and he just loved fixing things. He was a perfectionist and leaving a job unfinished was not something he liked, but something he grew to understand.

He will be missed and loved more than he could ever have known.

He is survived by his wife, Yvette “Marie” Plunkett Gilbertson; son, Clayton Gilbertson (Maddie), step-son, Dean Plunkett, Jr.; mother, Kathy Gilbertson; sister, Brenda Tisdale; nephew, Dustin Chambless; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other friends and relatives.

A celebration of Bradley’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Daphne chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
