Borden Morrow

Borden Morrow, a native of Greensboro, AL and longtime resident of Daphne, AL, passed away July 31, 2019.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Mary Virginia Borden Morrow; son, Scott and granddaughter, Leslie Anne Morrow.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marcie and children, Bryan Borden (Buddy) Morrow (Terri), Tracie Knight, Karen Savage (Bob) and Laura Gibson; grandchildren, Danielle Williams, Heather Morrow, Katie Knight, Traclyn Knight, Loren Knight, Erinn Savage and Esteban Morrow-Reece; great grandsons, Jeremiah and Christopher Williams as well as many friends. As a young man Borden proudly served his country and continued to assist and support our veterans throughout his life.  A local business man and educator, he also served the people of Baldwin County and Alabama as a county Commissioner and a member of the AL Commission on Higher Education. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, who loved his community, church, St. Paul’s Thrift Shop and the University of Alabama football.  He will be greatly missed by many and all who knew him   will miss his infectious smile and vibrant personality. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 28788 N. Main Street, Daphne, Al followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am.
