Bonnie Blum Bishop

Bonnie Blum Bishop, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at the age of 71. She grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and graduated in 1969 from Biloxi High School and from Mississippi State College for Women in 1973. She began working in Advertising in Mobile, AL and then continued in Fairhope. Bonnie volunteered with The Haven Animal Rescue in Fairhope. She was a member of the Jubilee Square Dance Club and Mobile Singles square Dance Club. She was a talented artist, seamstress and cook. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert (Bobby) Blum, Sr., her mother, Bessie Blum, aunts and uncles. Her survivors include her husband of 41 years, Anthony Bishop of Fairhope; brothers, Robert Blum (Tamra) of Baton Rouge, LA and Mike Blum (Je’Nell) of Ocean Springs, MS; nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
