Bobbie Jean Durgin Holliman, 77, a resident of Point Clear, AL passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Bobbie was born to the late Zannie and Florida Durgin in Hybart, AL on January 15, 1944. She was one of fourteen children. She attended Concordia Lutheran School in Selma, AL where she fostered her unquenchable thirst for the knowledge and understanding of God’s word and developed an intense love for writing and music. She shared her love for Christ and others through her faithful service as a choir member, LWML member and musician at Bethel Lutheran Church. Although she ministered throughout her life, in 2007 she became an Ordained Minister at the House of Prayer Fellowship Ministries. She was a mother to her entire Point Clear community; opening her door to anyone in need of food, lodging, love and most of all… the word of God. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Holliman; son, Bobby Holliman; grandsons, LaQuale Holliman Dailey and Andrew Holliman Sims; parents, Zannie and Florida Durgin; brothers, Charles Durgin, Sr. and Zannie Lee Durgin. She is survived by her daughters, Valarie (Mario) Montgomery, I and Daisy Holliman of Spanish Fort, AL; sons, Willard Holliman, Floyd Holliman, Zachary Holliman and Quintin Holliman all of Point Clear, AL; sisters, Daisy Allen, Ervielene Quaites of Point Clear, AL, Themsey Austin of Mobile, AL, Bertha Banks of Montrose, AL, Dorothy Mabien, Mobile, AL, Carolyn Chaney of Long Beach, CA, Ireita (Bobby) Goldsmith of Robertsdale, AL, and Vanessa (Antonio) Ai of Point Clear, AL; brothers, Wade Durgin of Toledo, OH, Lloyd (Lula) Durgin of Fairhope, AL and Michael (Malinda) Durgin of Point Clear, AL; brother-in law, James Ash, Sr. of Fairhope, AL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope and 9:00 AM, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 300 South Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama 36532. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, Saturday. Interment will follow at Twin Beech Community Cemetery, Fairhope, AL.
