Billy H. Tallent

Billy H. Tallent, 87, a native of Bruce, MS., and a resident of Daphne passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Billy was a devoted member of Daphne Baptist Church, and an avid Alabama football fan. He was a dedicated employee of over 30 years to Beech-Nut Food Distributors where he was a top salesman. After he retired, from Beech-Nut, he started driving a school bus where he provided transportation for the football players to sporting events. But there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his family and playing ROOK. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Fay Tallent. Billy is survived by his children, Cindy T. Black (Charles Dewayne) and Bill Tallent; grandchildren, Zachary Black, Le-Ann Romero (Mark) and Amy Sauve (Arthur); great-grandchildren, Jaylen Sugarman, Elliott Ishmael, Aria Sauve, Eli Sauve, Gail Sauve, Luc Sauve, Paige Romero, and Peyton Romero; sisters, Myra Faust and Linda Wagner (Ronnie); many other loving relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Fairhope chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
