Billy Joe Tacker, Jr.

Billy Joe Tacker, Jr., age 55, a resident of Elberta, AL., passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. He was a Mason with the Palmyra Lodge # 747 in Palmyra, TN. He served on the USS Kitty Hawk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deonia Tacker and mother, Dorothy Powers. Billy is survived by his 2 sons, Chris Tacker of Luray, VA and Dakota Tacker of Clarksville, TN; 3 daughters, Kimberly Rickard of Luray, VA, Lindsey DePalma of Clarksville, TN and Kristen McCoy, also of Clarksville, TN; father, Ron Powers of Clarksville; brother, Barry Powers (Liz) of Elberta; sister, Dee Peck (Roy) of Omaha, NE; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Billy’s Life will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley at 4:00 PM.
