Beverly Gail Dick, 78

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Beverly Gail Dick of Fairhope, AL on April 20th, 2024, at the age of 78. She was born in Mobile, AL on July 13, 1945, to Lee and Dorothy Seifert.
Gail graduated from The Convent of Mercy in Mobile, AL in 1963. She then graduated from The University of Alabama in 1967, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of the 1968 Mobile Carnival Association Court.
Gail shaped many young minds being a middle school teacher for over 20 years and obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education from Troy State University. She lived a life of service, including being the Director of the American Red Cross of Monroe County and President of the Monroe County Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Jonathan Dick Jr. of Fairhope, AL, her brother William Ross Seifert II (Margaret) of Point Clear, AL, three children, Marie Carson Hebbler (David) of St. Petersburg, FL, Jonathan Lee Dick (Shelley) of Mobile, AL, and Charles William Dick of Montgomery, AL, two grandchildren, Carter and Miles, as well as other relatives and friends. Gail was a devoted wife, mother, and active member of every community that she was a part of.
A visitation and funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope, AL, on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 9:00am in the St. Lawrence Room. Graveside service will be at 1:00pm at the Alabama State Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort.
Arrangements are with Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
