Betty Marie Walker

WALKER ELBERTA, ALABAMA   Mrs. Betty Marie Walker, 77, of Elberta, AL, passed away on October 11, 2017.  She was married to Jerry Rex Walker for 60 years.  They were blessed with two children, Rex (Jeanine) Walker of Summerdale, and Cindy (Lavon) Ledkins of Foley; a brother, Butch (Willa) Springsteen; four grandchildren, Tina Ledkins, December (Jacob) Spencer, Mikayla Walker and Alexis Walker; three great grandchildren, Colby Ledkins, Jakiya Jackson and Rylan Spencer; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie Springsteen.  She was a beautiful soul loved by everyone and will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley at 11:00am. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 10:00am until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, Jerry has requested that donations be made, in Betty's memory, to the Betty Walker Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
