Betty Jean Woodward Lewis, age 94, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 15, 2024. She was born in Memphis, TN and was a lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL. Betty loved God, her family and her many friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Glen Lewis, a decorated WWII Marine veteran.
Survivors include son Hayden (Cecilia) Lewis of Fairhope; daughter Glenda (Leland) Driver of Franklin, TN, and grandson Austin Lewis of Fairhope.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
A special thank you to the caregivers who helped Betty in her final years. The family is especially grateful for the compassion of the nurses and their staff who cared for her over the last year.
