Beth Yvonne Grose Kornmayer, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, departed this world to be with her Savior on August 17, 2024, at The Retreat Hospice in Mobile, Alabama. Beth was born on December 17, 1959, in Niagara Falls, New York. She moved to Mobile with her family while still young and attended the University of South Alabama, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree. After a long career as a Respiratory Therapist, Beth devoted the last several years to taking care of her parents.
Beth was a loving and beloved wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of 37 years, Kevin C. Kornmayer; her mother, Ruth Hasley Grose; her brothers Mark and Glenn; her sisters Elaine, Renee, Julie, and Penny; her many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces; and her cherished friends.
An enthusiastic gardener and an excellent cook, Beth had a talent for creating a warm and charming home. She dearly loved her flowers and her pets, camping trips with her husband, family celebrations, and girlfriend weekend get-togethers.
Funeral services will be on September 14, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope, Alabama. The services will be followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall and then coffee and dessert at the farm

“An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.”
(Proverbs 31:10-13)
