Bessie McClure Murray

Bessie McClure Murray, 94, a native of Lottie, AL and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. Bessie was preceded in death by her son Buddy McClure and a daughter Faye Gordon. She is survived by; her husband of 35 years, Robert Murray of Spanish Fort, AL; children, Geraldine Scott of Spanish Fort, Kenneth (Janet) Murray of Houston, TX, Steve Murray of Lucedale, MS, Tammy Murray of New Orleans, LA; sister, Mary Lee Peavy of Spanish Fort, Louise Mosley of Saraland, AL; brother, Otis (Charlotte) Langham of DeFuniak Springs, FL; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many other loving relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Spanish Fort, at 11:00am on Friday, December 30, 2022. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment follows at 2:00pm in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
