Barbra Ann Smith, age 73, of Loxley, Alabama, passed away at her home Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Eual and Ruth Smith.
Barbra spent most of her working life taking care of her elderly patients and taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eual and Ruth Smith; her brother, Eual Smith Jr, and grandson, Terrence West, III.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (Leon) Taylor; sons, Chip (Kay) West and Danny (Nora) West; her brother, Leslie (Brenda) Smith; sisters, Mary (Harvey) Nabors and Lillie (Randy) Hawkins. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11:00am in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
Burial will be held at Memory Gardens of Fairhope, following the funeral service.
