Mrs. Barbara McCord Corley, born in Meridian, Mississippi and a resident of Mobile County, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at the age of 85.
She worked in the Hospital field for over 60 years. She began at Providence Hospital in 1960 and then to Mobile Infirmary until retiring.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Corley; her daughter, Katherine Merle Breland; son, George Franklin Ragains; and brother, Gary McCord.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, William (Kelly) DeLaney of Bay Minette, AL., and Tony (Kathy) DeLaney; one daughter, Karen (Matt) Warden; her grandchildren, Courtney (John) Ojeda, Ryan (Heather) DeLaney, Brooke (Pierce)Parker, Joshua Vergos, Jacob Vergos, Alex DeLaney, Emily DeLaney, and Andrew Breland; ten great grandchildren, two brothers Oscar McCord (Carrie), and Bruce McCord (Nanette) and many other relatives and friends.
Per Barbara’s wishes, there will be no service.
