It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Kiehle, 91, who peacefully passed away of January 5th, 2025. Barbara has been a resident of Lillian, Alabama since 1993. Barbara was born and raised in Syracuse, NY where she became a schoolteacher for 22 years for the Syracuse City School District. Barbara truly enjoyed camping, gardening, knitting, and spending time with family and friends. Barbara is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Norman Kiehle. 

She is survived by her children Kristen (Brad) Hogan, Lisa (Adam) Porter, Scott (Tina) Kiehle, Jeffery (Caz) Kiehle, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held April 10th, 2025, at 11:00am at the Lillian Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lillian Methodist Church.
