Arthur Allen Meyers

Arthur Allen Meyers, born on September 28, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 in Fairhope, AL on November, 21, 2024 . Arthur cared deeply for his family and worked to ensure the best life for each of them. He leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, compassion, and dedication to his family and community. 

After retiring from his career as a dentist, he moved to Spanish Fort, AL to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren. He met his wife, Evelyn McNamara, playing bridge at the Fairhope Nix Center. They enjoyed their bridge playing community and competing as bridge partners. Together, they could always be counted on as gracious hosts and to lend a listening ear. 

Arthur is survived by his wife, Evelyn; sister, Jackie Friedman; two daughters, Myra Beth Meyers and Lisa Roberts; and three grandchildren, Jackie Ferentinos, Phillip Ferentinos, and Anthony Stiltner; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Arthur’s life will be planned and details sent out once arranged.
