Anna Wall Lindsay died on October 1, 2022, shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Anna was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 28, 1935, the daughter of Davis Eugene Wall and Anna Saitta Wall. She attended LSU and Loyola College, became a Certified Medical Technologist and worked at Baptist Hospital. She attended Teacher Certification classes at Dominican College and taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School. After teaching, she worked as a clerk for Standard Mortgage, preparing acts of sale and mortgage insurance documents. Anna believed in God, trusted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and believed in the Holy Spirit. She was a devoted Catholic and faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where she served as a lector for many years. She moved to Fairhope, Alabama in 1995 to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church, taught CCD and served as a lector. She volunteered at Thomas Hospital, Fairhope Public Library, and Eastern Shore Literacy Council. She led the weekly Rosary and attended services at Canterbury Chapel at Homestead Village. Anna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Wick Skinner of Fairhope; her grandson Jeremy Skinner and wife Tina, Assemblies of God Missionaries in Indonesia, Great-Granddaughters Amelia Joy and Evelyn Jane, Great-Grandson Rowan Amos; her granddaughter Amy Skinner and husband Jonathan Bowman of Ennice, North Carolina, Great-Granddaughter Isabel Catherine, Great-Grandson Jameson David; and her sister Beverly Campise of New Orleans. She has joined Malcolm, her husband of 17 years, in heaven, along with their son who died tragically the day he was born.
