Ann Baggett Blackmon

Ann Baggett Blackmon, age 80, loving Wife, Mama, MamMaw, Sister and friend, and a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was a member of Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church. From 1984 – 2000, she worked in the cafeteria at Elsanor school in Elsanor, AL. After enduring numerous health issues over the past five years, Ann received the ultimate healing in the arms of our Lord. Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by a son, Donald Blackmon; father, Wilbert Baggett; mother, Ruby Baggett and brothers, Roger Baggett, Frank Baggett and Guy Baggett. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Blackmon; her children, Joe Blackmon (Patricia), Dawn Harris and Doug Blackmon (Kathy); grandchildren, Sandra Beard, Katherine Harris, Josh Chavers, Elizabeth Harris, Brenden Chavers, Annie Blackmon and Trey Blackmon; great granddaughter, O Cooper; sister, Kathy Rowell (Rick) and brother, Ralph Baggett. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow funeral service at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
