Andrew Braswell, Sr.

Andrew Wells Braswell, Sr., age 51, a resident of Orange Beach, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017.He graduated from University Military School (UMS) in 1984, he then received his Marketing Degree from Auburn University in 1989, and received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from The University of Alabama in 1991. Andrew was very successful in the financial industry for over 20 years. He most recently created and opened his own restaurant, Chalkboard Kitchen and Catering, selling it to his youngest brother, John. Andrew was passionate about his family, he loved the outdoors, traveling, hiking, baseball, motorcycling, MOTOGP, and sunrises. Andrew and Ann lived out their dream traveling the world this past year. He was a devoted son, proud father, and loving husband. He is survived by his wife, Ann Brown Braswell; sons: Andrew Wells Braswell, Jr. and John McPherson Braswell; parents, Garland “Buddy” and Kay Braswell; brothers, Garland “Bud” Braswell, Jr., and John “Jeb” Embrey Braswell (Tabitha); sister, Kay Braswell Ernest “Honey” (Cameron); nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Andrew’s Life will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fairhope, AL.
