Alice Elizabeth Schaffer

Alice Elizabeth Schaffer, age 90, former resident of Lorain, OH and resident of Foley, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was a member of the American Legion Post 30 Auxiliary in Lorain, OH for 50 years. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Schaffer She is survived by four daughters, Linda Fennell of Foley, Bonnie McCallie of Gulf Shores, Shirley Schaffer of Foley, Peggy Robertson of Foley; 4 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. A funeral service will be held at a later date in Lorain, OH. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Kindred Hospice of the Robertsdale United Methodist Church.
