Alfred Walter McCoy, Jr.

Alfred Walter McCoy, Jr., age 66, a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was a Bible scholar, an avid golfer, and a big Alabama fan. He played basketball for South Alabama and was a great musician and singer. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah D. McCoy of Fairhope; son, Benjamin C. McCoy (Adriene) of Wilmington, NC; daughters, Dawn McCoy of Wilmington, NC and Miriam Frances McCoy of Fairhope; sister, Paige Peek (Sam) of Destin, FL; many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
