Albert Sydney (Bebo) Klyce, III

Albert Sydney (Bebo) Klyce, III, a native of Gadsden and longtime resident of Point Clear, AL passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Bebo was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Klyce, his parents, Albert Sydney Klyce II and Kathleen Wynn Klyce. Bebo is survived by his wife Beverly Pugh Klyce; children Tommy Klyce (Claire), of Magnolia, Springs, Debbie Klyce, of Mobile, AL, Katherine Klyce, of Mobile, AL, Doug Klyce (Kim), of Mobile, AL, Grady Pugh (Catherine), of Tuscaloosa, AL; Melanie Bell (Dwight), of Atlanta, GA, and Andy Pugh (Angie), of Nashville, TN ; grandchildren: Connor Klyce, Blake Klyce, Emily Klyce Hansen, Mackenzie Klyce, Jackson Klyce, Roland Pugh, Joiner Pugh, Jessica Pugh, Beverly Bell, Kirsten Bell Armstrong, Caitlin Bell, Morgan Pugh and Ellen Pugh; and great grandchild Elizabeth Pugh. Bebo loved spending time on the water. He and Beverly spent many enjoyable adventures cruising the Abacos on their boat the “Wash King” enjoying beautiful sunsets and gin martinis. Bebo was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and just about anything outdoors. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Bebo is the founder of Bebo’s Car Wash and was instrumental in its growth. He loved to wash cars! He was president of the International Car Wash Association and the Southeastern Car Wash association. His innovative thinking also landed him in many discussion panels and focus groups within the car wash industry. He was very civic minded and was always ready to lend his time. He was a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama, American Red Cross, March of Dimes, and served as advisor to politicians on local, state, and national levels. A special thanks to Alicia Odom for her loving care of him. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
