Mona Lou Frost

PERDIDO BEACH, AL. Mona L. Frost, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the age of 72. Mona was born on January 1, 1938 to Clayton D. and Myrtle (Acton) Bailey in New Merkle, AL. Mona was very proud of her life long vocation as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was also proud of her Alabama heritage, which stemmed from some of the earliest settlers that came to Acton Valley in north Alabama in 1814. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Ina Y. (Ben) Ashley and her brother, Gary B. (Kimberly) Bailey. Surviving is her husband of fifty years, Kenneth R. Frost, Jr. of Perdido Beach, AL; two daughters, Debbie (Mark) Deemer, Sylvia (Ronnie Farmer) Frost of Macon, GA; three sons, Bruce (Pat) Frost of Farmerville, LA, Scott Frost of Huntsville, AL and Barry (Tonya) Frost of Pensacola, FL; one brother, Clayton D. (Linda) Bailey, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00PM at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home from 8:00PM until 9:00PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
