FAIRHOPE, AL Harry Elwood Charnock, age 87, a native of Wellsburg, WV, a longtime resident of Rochelle, IL, and a current resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010. Mr. Charnock was a WWII Veteran, U.S. Army Air Corp. He is survived by his sons, Harry Phillip Charnock and his wife Roxanne of Rochelle, IL, Jeffry Curt Charnock and his wife Cherie of Fairhope, AL, daughters, Pamela Tesch and her husband Ronald of Mosinee, WI, Diane Fischer and her husband David of Lindenwood, IL, Ellen Rainwater of Rochelle, IL, Beth Little and her husband Barry of Fairhope, AL, brother, Irvin Charnock and his wife Conchita of Mobile, AL, seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harry Charnock was best known for Harry’s Sandwich Shop, later the Dairy Queen, and Rolling Green Estates Mobile Home Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Friday, November 12, 2010, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until service time.
