Jim Sweatt

DAPHNE Jim Sweatt, age 83, a native of Crenshaw County, AL and a resident of Daphne, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Jim was a Mobile and Baldwin County Santa Claus for 64 years. He is survived by hiswife of 62 years, Mary Louise Sweatt of Daphne,son, Charles Anthony “Tony” Sweat and his wife Brenda of Atlanta, GA,sister, Margaret Ann Morgan of Gretna, LA,grandchildren, Shane Sweatt, Jeff Sweatt, Ashleigh Sweatt, Lindsay Sweatt, Stephanie Sweatt, Jennifer Bruce,numerous great grandchildren,nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Friday, November 5, 2010, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from Faith Family Fellowship, Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 11:00am.  Mr. Sweatt will lie in state at the church from 10:00am until service time.
