David Ellis White-Spunner

SILVERHILL, ALDavid Ellis White-Spunner, age 59, a native of Mobile and a resident of Silverhill, Alabama, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at a local hospital. Mr. White-Spunner was a graduate of Murphy highschool class of 1969 and the University of the South, Sewanee,TN. class of 1973. He spent his early years working in the horticulture industry, but later in life pursued his love of cooking as owner/head chef of Almost 6 Cafe and nutritional director for Mercy Medical in Fairhope, Alabama. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Rachel White-Spunner of Mobile; three sisters: Katherine (Benny) White and Nancy (David) McGinnis both of Charlotte, NC. and Joan (John) Dickson of Mobile. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, Mobile, AL. on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the church hall.
