Otis Hendon Brunson, III.

BRUNSON Hendon Brunson, a native of Mobile, and a resident of Daphne, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the age of 50. Hendon was a devoted husband, a great father, loving son, brother and friend as well as a dedicated and caring teacher.  Hendon was an active  member of Daphne United Methodist Church He loved to travel, camping with family, reading a good book and was passionate about Alabama Football.  Hendon was creative; always inventing and designing new ideas. He loved to sing and he was a member of the Daphne Methodist Choir and "Runner". Hendon was an Assistant Principal with the Baldwin County Public Schools. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Harriett Perry Brunson of Daphne;  two children: Bo Brunson and Perry Brunson;  his parents, Otis and Jackie Brunson; brother, Darin Brunson;  mother-in-law, Bernice Perry;  many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces,  nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Velna Bolton and Otis and Irene Brunson. Hendon will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2-3:30 at Daphne United Methodist Church Community Life Center.  Funeral services will follow at 3:30 pm officiated by Reverend Jim Fillingim. A private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Daphne United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
