Barbara June Farmer

DAPHNE Barbara June Farmer passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Fairhope at the age of 73. She was a native of Cleveland, OH and a resident of Daphne. Mrs. Farmer retired from Breckenridge Hospital in Austin, TX. She was a member of Belforest Christian Church and a longtime volunteer at Thomas Hospital where she was a former vice-president of Thomas Hospital Auxiliary. She also served as a historian and hospitality chairwoman for Auxiliary. Mrs. Farmer is survived by a son, Scott Farmer of Daphne; two daughters, Charla Farmer of New Bern, NC, Allison Nawrocki of Daphne; three grandchildren, Sean Farmer of Daphne, Chelsea Lewis of New Bern, NC, Jamison Nawrocki of Daphne; one great grandson, Caden Lewis of New Bern, NC. She was preceded in death ny her husband, Ray Farmer.The family will receive friends Monday, August 30, 2010 from 1-2 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. A memorial service will begin at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., P.O.
