Michael Dennis LeRoy

  FAIRHOPE, AL   Michael Dennis LeRoy, age 64, a native of Minneapolis, MN, and 4 year resident of Fairhope, AL, went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, August 22, 2010.   Mike loved his family and friends and his generous heart was evident to all who knew him.  Living on Mobile Bay was the realization of a dream.  He enjoyed golfing and more recently loved his time in the pool at Homestead Village with special friends. Mike served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1968, and subsequently was a sales representative in various industries, retiring from BASF Corporation in 2005. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope and found great joy in being able to bring The Eucharist to the sick at Thomas Hospital on Sunday mornings.   Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie and father, Lyle Glenn LeRoy.   He is survived by his wife, Renee LeRoy of Fairhope, AL, Sister, Patty (Cecil) Garrett of Pensacola, FL, Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.     Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 11:00 am, from St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope.   The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, August 26, 2010, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.   Interment will be in Isanti, MN.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Catholic Charities.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE, AL 36532
