NORTH CAROLINA Mrs. Margaret McDowell Earls, age 78, passed away on August 5, 2010 at Carillon Assisted Living in Lincolnton, NC. Private Graveside services will be held. A daughter of the late Jeter Elmer McDowel, Sr. and Margaret Esther Kirby McDowell, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Earls and brothers Elmer, Jr., George and Roy McDowell. She is survived by her sons, Stacy, David, and Rodney Earls; Grandsons, Brandon and Derrick; Sister, Tessie M. Hanley; Brother, Charlie McDowell and wife Gladys; Special nieces, Ann Roberts and Jeanine Carpenter; And several nephews.
