Riley Woodrow Byrd, Jr.

ROBERTSDALE, AL CWO-4 Riley W. Byrd  Ret., age 62, a native of Silverhill, AL, and a resident of Robertsdale, AL, died Wednesday June 2, 2010. Mr. Byrd served 32 years with the U.S.  Coast Guard, retiring as a CWO-4, he also served during the  Vietnam War. He was a member of  the Greeno Masonic Lodge  Fairhope , AL, and was a local business owner. Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife, Laura M. Byrd of Robertsdale, AL,  sons, Jason Byrd (Gidget Johnson and Connor) of Daphne, AL, James Z. Byrd (Maria) of Salt Lake City UT, step-daughter, Judi Shuger (Mike) of Denver, CO, sister, Judy Wright (Charlie), brother , Ray Byrd both of Silverhill, AL, two grandchildren, Lilli and Dyson Shuger, nieces, nephews, other relatives  and friends. Visitation will be on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Daphne Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Daphne, AL   Interment will be in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
