Nondie Harten Robinson

FAIRHOPE Nondie Harten Robinson of Daphne passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Fairhope at the age of 83. She was born March 16, 1927 in Monroe County to William J. and Carlie Harten. Mrs. Robinson enjoyed spending time with her friends at the U.M.W. and was a former president of the U.M.W. for many years, . She worked in civil service at Brookley Field and Whiting Field, Milton, FL. Mrs. Robinson loved visiting with her "lady" friends and playing dominoes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Yuille Robinson; son, William Otto Robinson and a grandson, Christopher Edward Boyett. Mrs. Robinson is survived by a daughter, Teresa Robinson (Eddie) Boyett of Fairhope; three granddaughters, Jodie Boyett (Randy) Fidler of Fairhope, Jennifer Boyett (Scott) Cook of Fairhope, Elizabeth Robinson Andrew of Daphne; seven great grandchildren, Mary Carlyn Fidler, Sadie Elizabeth Fidler, Harrison Edward Cook, Isabelle Paige Andrew, Stefan Andrew, Slade Andrew and Jewel Andrew; daughter-in-law, Glenda Lake Robinson of Moundville. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 9-10 am at Fairhope United Methodist Church. Funeral service will begin at 10 am at the church. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile. She was a wonderful mother, adoring grandmother and faithful friend. She will me greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairhope or Daphne United Methodist Church, U.M.W..
