Rachel Thomas

MONTROSE   Rachel McInnis Thomas, age 82, a native of Fairhope and a resident, for more than 59 years, of Montrose, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010.   Mrs. Thomas was a graduate of Florida State University . She and Mr. Thomas were charter members Trinity Presbyterian Church and Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church Rachel was a talented artist and musician.   She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Thomas of Montrose, sons, Boots Thomas of Mobile, Thorn Thomas and his wife Beth of Fairhope, Michael Thomas and his wife Barbara of Fairhope, Daniel Thomas and his wife Millie of Charlotte, NC, daughters, Kista Dorgan of Atlanta , GA , Karen Behl and her husband Tom of Auburn, IL, Tina Ridge and her husband Steven of Houston, TX, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   Funeral services will be held from St. James Episcopal Church, Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 10:00am.   Interment will follow in Montrose Cemetery .   In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Mulherin Custodial Home, 2496 Halls Mill Road , Mobile , AL 36606 .   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE , AL 36532
