FOLEY Thomas Richard McColloch, age 82, a native of Akron, OH, and a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Mr. McColloch was born July 8, 1927. He attended St. Vincent Grade School and High School in Akron. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, aboard the USS Sicily. He attended Kent State and earned his engineering degree at Case Western University. He did his Masters studies in Industrial Law at San Diego State University. He was preceded in death by his father, Lafayette Ray; his mother, Edna Elizabeth (Black); his brother, Robert McColloch; his great-grandson, Joel Molina; and his granddaughter, Claire Grace McColloch. Mr. McColloch is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley Eubanks McColloch of Foley, AL; four sons, Michael McColloch and his wife Colleen of Solano Beach, CA, Terrance McColloch and his wife Nancy of Birmingham, AL, Daniel McColloch and his wife Colleen of Celena, TX, and Thomas McColloch of Foley, AL; four daughters, Kathleen Johnson and her husband Michael of Dayton, OH, Susan Sato and her husband Steve of Centerville, OH, Karen Hunter and her husband Charles of Boynton Beach, FL, and Pamela McColloch of Orlando, FL; his dearly loved sister, Virginia Hickox of Houston, TX; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 21, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Queen Of Scotland Catholic Church, Foley, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass.
