Mary Elizabeth Berlage

DAPHNE Mary Elizabeth Hinton Berlage, age 90, a native of Kentucky, and a resident of Daphne for over 50 years, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Joseph “Joe” Berlage sons, Edwin John Berlage, and Duane Claiborne Berlage. She is survived by her sons, Richard Lee Berlage of Daphne, James Albert Berlage and his wife Kay of Silverhill, daughters, Dixie B. Fabre and her husband Frank of Pensacola,Mary Sheila Rogers of Daphne, brother, Louis Hinton and his wife Elaine of Hardinsburg, KY, sisters, Frances Payne of Hardinsburg, KY, Imelda Richardson of Louisville, KY, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 am until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Christ the King Catholic Church, Friday, April 23, 2010, at 11:30 am . Interment will be in Belforest Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mary’s Shelter, P. O. Box 18, Elberta, AL. 36530 or your favorite charity.
