Evelyn Mixson Dunn

FAIRHOPE Evelyn Mixson Dunn, age 86, a native of Geneva, AL, a resident of Fairhope, AL, for 74 years, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010. She was a member of Fairhope Assembly of God Church and spent her life being a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. Ms. Dunn is preceded in death by her parents, Walker Lee and Vassie Lenora Mixson, a sister, Blondell Sawyer, brothers, Carthell, Carlos, and Odell Mixson, and a son-in-law, Donnie Partlow. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Johnson of Fairhope, AL, Fran Simmons and her husband Bud of Daphne, AL, Barbara Nelson and her husband Sammy, Karen Partlow, all of Fairhope, AL, son, Henry Phillips and his wife Margaret of Daphne, AL, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, brothers, Charles Mixson and his wife Alberta, John Mixson and his wife Venola, sister-in-law, Zeola Mixson, all of Fairhope, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010, at 10:00 am, from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Interment and graveside services will be held in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
