Gerald D Nichols

FOLEY, AL Gerald D. "Nick" Nichols passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Foley at the age of 76. He was a native of Minneapolis, MN and a resident of Foley. Nick was the owner of Budget Auto and Truck and Baldwin Salvage Yard in Summerdale. He was an avid fisherman and dedicated his life to his wife and his work. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Mayfield Nichols of Foley; mother, Irma Nichols Bishop of Boise, ID; and mother-in-law, Lya Mejia of Colombia. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 5:00 pm from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel in Foley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 2770 S McKenzie, Foley, AL 36535.
