Davis Willard Rayls, Sr.

RYALS   Mr. Davis Willard Ryals, Sr., 88, a native of Crenshaw County , AL and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, March 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by parents, Arrice J. Ryals and Emma Davis Ryals, 1 sister and 2 brothers. He served in WWII with the US Army Air Force in the Pacific theater.  His career took him to Huntsville , where he retired after 20 years of Civil Service at the Army Missel Command, Redstone Arsenal.  He served as an officer in various church and community organizations, loved outdoor activities and especially being around his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Florrie Alburl Ryals, Daughter, Susan Ryals Luka (Bill), Son, Davis W. Ryals, Jr. (Judy), 3 grandsons, Captain Will Luka (Kathryn), Bo Ryals, and Matt Ryals, 2 granddaughters, Sarah Luka LaSource (Jason), Allison Luka, Great granddaughter, Claire Luka, Sister, Bernice Ryals Bodiford, Nieces, nephews, and other relatives.   Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 11:00 am, in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.    ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE , AL 36532
